Volunteering at Ospa was never a dull moment as you never knew what to expect every time you arrived.
Some Volunteers walked dogs , some bathed and fussed , some went out on mobile clinics but everyone loved the dogs.
I spent my time trying to outwit the dogs 2 days a week for more than 3 years
So its was repairs , repairs and more repairs.
Ospa is situated just outside the town of Santa Maria near Dunas and Villa Verde resorts.
The compound has around 60 dogs all rescued from the street and all ready for adoption.
Any dog lover planning on going to Sal would be more than welcome .
This charity runs on donations and again any contribution financially or with equipment – food – and time is always greatly appreciated.
